Should we remove or treat baby teeth/deciduous teeth with caries?
baby teeth/deciduous teeth are replaced naturally in children six years or older. After the examination and X-ray, we will be able to determine how long the baby tooth/deciduous tooth has before it’s replaced with the permanent tooth. If the duration is short, it’s better to wait for the tooth to be naturally replaced. If not, the tooth is treated or extracted.
In the case of extracting a baby tooth/deciduous tooth , how to ensure that the milk tooth will grow properly?
After a baby tooth/deciduous tooth is removed, we install a retainer-like device to ensure that the permanent tooth grows properly in the right place.
