Cosmetic dentistry is any procedure performed by specialized dentists to improve the look of a smile. Despite what most people think, cosmetic dentistry is not a single fixed procedure for anybody who wants their smile to look better. Cosmetic dentistry is a result that is achieved after a research process and different procedures like veneers Or fixed prosthodontics , laser teeth whitening, gum reshaping , or even braces.
In the end, professional dentists can determine the correct cosmetic method, taking into account the patient’s desire and capabilities.
Changing the color of the teeth to an aesthetic white color is possible using different methods, like laser teeth whitening (Bleaching) or fixed prosthodontics like veneers and crowns.
Solving the teeth gap problem is possible using different methods, like braces or fixed prosthodontics like veneers and crowns.
You can solve this problem with different procedures like braces or fixed prosthodontics .
The dimensions and shapes of the teeth can be changed using fixed prosthodontics (veneers or crowns) . This is the only way we can control the length and width of the teeth, in addition to how they stack their relationship to each other, and the color of the teeth.
This is all possible thanks to the computer-based Smile Design technology. The manufacturing process is also computerized, while the final touches are added manually by our dental lab technicians and our cosmetic dentists.
The veneer is a thin layer that is manufactured from certain materials and affixed to the front surface of the teeth. This helps us shape the smile, the dimensions, and colors of the teeth permanently after preparing the teeth for the veneers. This is done by specialized doctors to avoid any damage to the teeth or gum.
This is all possible thanks to the computer-based Smile Design technology. The manufacturing process is also computerized, while the final touches are added manually by our dental lab technicians and our cosmetic dentists.
We usually need to drill or remove a part of the front surface of the tooth similar to the thickness of the veneers, which is a fraction of a millimeter. In some cases, we don’t need to drill the teeth at all when we use 3N Veneers.
We use three different types of veneers at Capital Dental Clinic:
- CAD CAM Veneers
- Hybrid Veneers
- 3N Veneers
The cost of veneer per tooth varies based on the type of veneer used:
- CAD CAM Veneers cost 4,000 EGP per tooth.
- Hybrid Veneers cost 5,000 EGP per tooth.
- drill-free veneers made inside our own dental lab cost 6000 EGP per tooth
- 3N Veneers cost 9,000 EGP per tooth.
There are always offers and discounts available. You can find out more by contacting us on the phone or via Whatsapp by clicking on the Whatsapp icon.
CAM CAD Veneers are veneers that have their shapes and properties designed and manufactured by a computer from the German E-Max material. This makes them ideal in terms of size, dimensions, and overall aesthetics to suit different cases. CAD CAM Veneers require drilling the teeth in the range of a half millimeter, and they require two sessions to install, with the final fitting possible within 24 hours.
Hybrid Veneers combine the properties of computer-based design and manufacturing with the hand skill of cosmetic dentists and dental lab technicians. This creates a final result that is aesthetic and full of details that resemble the look of natural teeth. This type of veneer requires two visits that are four days to a week apart.
3N Veneers is the only technology that doesn’t require teeth drilling or an anesthetic injection. It’s one of the most advanced cosmetic dentistry techniques in the world, and the veneers are manufactured in the 3N Company in Germany and Dubai. Installing these veneers requires two visits that are 3 weeks apart.
You can find a list of the doctors authorized to use this technology by the 3N Corporation on their official website: www.nnnveneers.com
Dr. Ahmed AlKaffas and the Capital Dental Clinic are authorized by 3N Corporation and are considered pioneers of this technology in Egypt.
Deciding whether a case is suitable for using 3N Veneers is the responsibility of the treating cosmetic dentist. This is done after examining the case and learning more about the capabilities of the patient. In general, 3N Veneers are suitable for cases that don’t require a major intervention or have teeth protrusion.
Your treating cosmetic dentist is the best person to determine the type of cosmetic veneer that is right for you. After examining your case and learning more about your desired outcome and budget, they can recommend the right type of veneer for you.
In the end, every type of veneer has its unique advantages. All the types of veneers we use are some of the best worldwide, and they all can greatly improve your smile and get stunning cosmetic results.
Deciding the number of veneers needed is done after the examination and analytical photography. This helps find out the number of teeth that are visible during a smile, and how it would change after the cosmetic procedure to determine the number of needed veneers.
This number is usually between 8-10 veneers for each jaw arch.
Just like all r fixed prosthodontics , the person getting the veneers should be at least 18 years old. However, it’s not recommended to have dental veneers before the age of 21.
Dental veneers usually require two sessions that are 48 to 72 hours apart, according to each case.
Dental veneers last for seven years and can last longer if cared for properly by adhering to the care instructions and periodic check-up visits.
The color and shape of veneers doesn’t change over time. In fact, it’s considered a perfect solution in terms of longevity and continuity, as long as it’s installed by cosmetic dentistry specialists and cared for properly by regular cleaning and periodic check ups.
Yes. Veneers are considered a great solution for smokers and people who enjoy drinks that cause teeth discoloration, as they prevent them permanently.
Yes. You can replace old veneers with new and better ones in two sessions only. The first session is for removing the old veneers and taking the dimensions, and the second is for installing the new veneers.
The crown is a cover that is manufactured from special materials to cover the teeth from all sides to change the shape of the smile, as well as the color and dimensions of the teeth. The installation is done after preparing the tooth for the crown by specialized dentists to avoid any damage to the teeth or gum.
Crowns and veneers are manufactured from the same materials and are indistinguishable from each other once they are installed. The main difference between them is in the number of teeth sides they cover. Veneers cover the front of the teeth only while crowns cover all sides of the teeth.
The choice between them is made based on different factors like the strength of the enamel layer, tooth decay, large teeth gaps, jaw mismatch, bite type, and many other factors that are evaluated by the treating dentist.
There are two different types of crowns:
- E-Max
- Zircon
Both are used in cosmetic dentistry and achieve exceptional results, with the difference being:
- Zircon is stronger so it is usually used in molars
- E-Max is more aesthetic so it usually used in frontal teeth
In the end, the treating dentist is the one capable of choosing the right type for each case.
The cost of a Zircon or E-Max crown is 4,000 EGP. There are always offers and discounts available. You can find out more by contacting us on the phone or via Whatsapp by clicking on the Whatsapp icon.

This is a cosmetic procedure that makes the color of the teeth enamel 4-6 degrees lighter than its natural color. Laser is used inside the clinic in a session that lasts 45-60 minutes, with immediate results.
Laser teeth whitening (Bleaching) is completely safe. However, we don’t recommend doing it more than once per year, as repeating it might cause problems like enamel sensitivity.
Laser teeth whitening (Bleaching) costs 5,000 EGP, with a free cleaning and polishing session included. There are always offers and discounts available. You can find out more by contacting us on the phone or via Whatsapp by clicking on the Whatsapp icon.
The effect of laser whitening (Bleaching) lasts from 6-12 months, based on the level of dental care and other factors like smoking, and consuming beverages that cause teeth discoloration, like coffee.
- Laser whitening makes the teeth 4-6 degrees lighter, and only lasts for 6-12 months.
- Whitening teeth with fixed prosthodontics makes it possible to reach the exact desired color, in addition to controlling the shape and dimensions of the teeth and designing the smile in general.
Braces can solve problems like teeth gaps, crowding, and protrusion. However, they don’t allow us to change the color or dimensions of the teeth, and it is more suitable for younger patients. On the other hand, fixed prosthodontics like crowns and veneers allow us to solve the same problem, in addition to color and dimensions faster than braces.
Yes. We can work on the existing teeth and compensate for the missing ones with dental implants or fixed prosthodontics.
A composite or white filling is one of the modern teeth filling materials that come in a different variety of natural teeth colors. This makes it more suitable for frontal teeth fillings.
Composites can be used to cover the external surface of the frontal teeth to give them a cosmetic treatment that is cheaper than veneers. We don’t recommend such practice as these composites are weaker and suffer from rapid color change and can cause gum inflammation and dental caries.
Yes. All gum problems like shape or color can be treated with laser to reshape the gum or change its color.

Dental implants are the best and most advanced solution to compensate for lost teeth, as it allows dentists to compensate for jawbone and tissue loss as well. This allows restoring a shape and function that is similar to natural teeth.
Dental implants are a two-stage process:
- In the first stage, the titanium implants or screws are placed in the jawbones or inside the mouth. In this stage, additional procedures such as lifting the nasal sinus or supporting the jawbones might be needed for some cases.
- In the second stage, the external part of the teeth is installed over the implants to restore the shape and function of natural teeth. This takes place at least three months after installing the implants to ensure that the jawbones have completely healed.
The appropriate age for dental implants is 18 years or older, with no maximum age limit. This procedure cannot be carried out for someone younger than 18 years as the jawbones will not be fully developed yet.
Dental implants are the best solution to compensate for teeth loss. As dental implants replace the roots of the teeth with titanium implants, the missing jawbones and the tissues surrounding the missing teeth are replaced with external fixtures.
On the contrary, dental fittings or bridges only replace the outer portion without the roots, jawbones, or surrounding tissues.
Dental implants are usually performed with local anesthesia on the dental chair. General anesthesia is also available for cases that need it.
Dental implants are a two-step procedure:
- The first step is adding the implants, which takes 10-15 minutes.
- The second step is adding the final crown over the implants.
After adding the implants, we add a temporary crown until the bones are completely healed, after which we will add the final crown.
Dental implants cost between 8,000-14,000 EGP per implant based on the different types of implants that can be used. There are always offers and discounts available. You can find out more by contacting us on the phone or via Whatsapp by clicking on the Whatsapp icon.
There are three types of implants that we use:
- Korean implants: Cost 8,000 EGP per implant
- German implants: Cost 11,000 per implant
- Swiss implants: Cost 14,000 per implant
The differences between implants are mainly technical with little importance to the patients, in addition to places where they are manufactured. As long as we choose well-known implants that are recognized by international dentistry organizations, any choice will lead to a successful implant in terms of shape and function. All types of implants are guaranteed for life.
Yes. All types of implants are guaranteed for life.
Lifetime guarantee for dental implants means that if any of the implants fail at any time (which happens for only 3% of cases), Capital Dental Clinic will redo the implants at no additional cost.
Yes. We can compensate for any number of missing teeth, whether they are connected or separated, and even with full teeth loss in the upper or lower jaw, or both.
To determine the cost of full jaw implants, we first need to know the number of implants needed to compensate for the full jaw, and we can’t do this without 3D scanning . This allows us to know the density of the jawbones, as well as the general condition of the teeth and the roots to determine the number of implants and whether the jawbones require support or not.
Until all these factors are determined, all we can know before the examination and 3D scanning is the cost per implant and the average number of implants required to compensate for a full jaw.
The upper jaw requires 6-8 implants and 12 dental fittings. The lower jaw requires 4-6 implants and 12 dental fittings.
Ultimately, every case has its unique characteristics and as a result, might require a different number of implants. That is something we can determine after the examination and the 3D scanning.
Crowns Over Implants cost 4,000 EGP.

Different types of crowns differ in terms of strength, transparency, and overall aesthetics, and the right type of fittings differ based on each case. For example, if we want to compensate for molars, we could use strong Zircon. If we want to compensate for front teeth, we could use E-Max, or Zircon with an E-Max layer, based on what the treating dentist sees fit.
No problem. We can tell the condition and density of jawbones using 3D scanning . In the case of jaw atrophy, we can compensate for the jawbones with bone grafting in addition to the teeth implants.
Yes, we can implant teeth even in the presence of diabetes. All we need is a cumulative blood sugar test with a result of 7 or less. If the result is higher than 7, we can follow up with a diabetes specialist to adjust the diet and medication until the result reaches 7 or less. We can then proceed to the implant process without problems.

Treating dental caries requires an examination and X-ray to determine the degree of the decay, and whether it has reached the nerve of the tooth or not.
If the decay has not reached the nerve, the problem can be fixed with a cosmetic filling.
If the decay has reached the nerve, we will have to do a nerve filling and install a dental fitting afterward.
In all cases, you should clean your teeth regularly to avoid the recurrence of the problem.
This problem is usually caused by dental caries. We will need to conduct the necessary examination and X-ray to determine the degree of decay and whether or not it has reached the nerve of the tooth.

If the decay has reached the nerve, we will have to do a nerve filling and install a dental crown afterward.
In all cases, you should clean your teeth regularly to avoid the recurrence of the problem.
Cosmetic filling is for the outer visible part of the tooth, and it’s done by removing caries and replacing it with materials of the same color and shape as the natural teeth.
On the other hand, nerve filling is done at the roots of the teeth by removing the inflamed nerve and treating it with methods and materials designed specifically for this purpose.
Cosmetic fillings (composite) cost 1,500 EGP.
Computer-based cosmetic fillings cost 4,000 EGP.
Nerve fillings (root canal treatment) cost 2,000 EGP.

Cosmetic and nerve fillings are completed in one session.
In the case of nerve filling with severe infections or abscesses, two sessions might be needed instead of one. This happens only in 10% of the cases.
The cost of a crown after nerve fillings is 4,000 EGP.
There are always offers and discounts available. You can find out more by contacting us on the phone or via Whatsapp by clicking on the Whatsapp icon.
There are two types of dental crowns:
- Zircon
- E-Max
Two possible reasons could cause this, and that is determined through the necessary examination and radiation:
- The inflamed nerve was not fully pulled and replaced by the nerve filling.
- One of the tools used for treating the nerve is broken inside the nerve or tooth root.
And the solution is to remove the old filling completely along with any broken tools then replacing it with a new filling.
We need to perform an examination and X-ray to determine whether the remaining part of the tooth is enough to reconstruct the tooth or not.
If it’s enough to reconstruct the tooth, the solution would be to fill the nerve and support the tooth with posts and install a crown for the tooth.
If it’s not enough, the solution would be to remove the tooth and compensate for it with immediate implants.

baby teeth/deciduous teeth are replaced naturally in children six years or older. After the examination and X-ray, we will be able to determine how long the baby tooth/deciduous tooth has before it’s replaced with the permanent tooth. If the duration is short, it’s better to wait for the tooth to be naturally replaced. If not, the tooth is treated or extracted.
After a baby tooth/deciduous tooth is removed, we install a retainer-like device to ensure that the permanent tooth grows properly in the right place.
