Veneers or crowns from another clinic, in Egypt or abroad, that no longer look or feel right? The doctor examines them first, then we redo what needs it.
The check-up is 800 EGP.

Before any crown or veneer comes off, you know the state of the tooth under it, what it needs and what it costs.
Coming to us to fix work done somewhere else is common, and there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Bring what you have: any X-ray or report from the clinic that did the work, and tell us what happened. The doctor compares it with what your mouth shows now, and a CT scan is taken when it is needed. You can also start with an online video consultation with Dr. Ahmed Al Kaffas, from Egypt or from abroad, and send your photos and X-rays before you come.

I had some issues with some dentists over in America, and they had kind of messed up some crowns on my front teeth. Her own film, from the United States

Too white, all one size, bulky, a dark line at the gum, or simply worn with the years.
What people notice first is often a shade that no longer matches, a dark line where the crown meets the gum, edges you can see, or teeth that look too white and all one size. The doctor finds what is causing it and tells you whether each crown or veneer can stay, can be repaired, or is better replaced. New veneers are Glamneers, our own veneers. Each tooth is designed by hand to suit your face, and you wear the design as a try-in before anything is made. New crowns are made in zirconia or E-max, and the doctor tells you which suits each tooth.
Gums that are red, swollen or bleeding around a crown or veneer, or a gum line that sits unevenly.
Crowns and veneers need healthy gum around them, so gums that stay red, swollen or bleeding around old work is worth having checked. The doctor finds the cause and tells you whether the gum can be treated with the crown in place, or the crown is better replaced. Where the gum needs it, it is treated first, with a deep cleaning or laser disinfection, so the new work sits on healthy gum. An uneven gum line can be reshaped by laser, and the new teeth are designed to fit it once the gum has settled.
When old work covers many teeth and the smile as a whole no longer suits your face.
Sometimes the trouble is not one tooth but the whole smile: veneers that all look identical, like a set of false teeth, a smile line that tilts, teeth too long or too short for your lips. Then the plan starts from your face, not from the old work. The new smile is designed on your photographs, checked on your face while you talk and smile, and worn as a try-in before anything is made. Where the gum or the bite is part of the problem, it goes into the same plan, and the doctor tells you the order and the stages before anything starts.

Whitening does not change the colour of old fillings, so a dark one stays dark. The doctor checks the tooth under it and tells you whether a new filling in tooth colour is enough or the tooth needs a crown. A bridge rests on the teeth either side of a gap; when it no longer fits or the gum around it is sore, the doctor checks those teeth and tells you whether a new bridge suits you or, where the bone allows, an implant.

Usually, yes. The doctor examines them first and tells you whether each one can stay, can be repaired, or is better replaced, and you know the plan and its cost before anything is removed.
It depends on the state of the teeth under them. That is why the doctor examines your teeth and takes an X-ray first, and tells you what your own teeth need before anything is removed.
The examination and an X-ray show the teeth under the old work and the gum around it. A CT scan is taken when it is needed.

Yes. Book a first examination with us. The doctor reviews your case with X-rays and gives you the plan and its cost at that visit.
Putting earlier work right usually takes longer than doing it the first time, because the old work comes off first and the gum sometimes needs treating. The doctor tells you the stages and how long they take before anything starts.
No. New veneers and crowns cost the same per tooth as on our price list; replacing old work does not raise the price. Anything else your case needs, such as treating the gum first, is in the plan and its cost you get at the examination, before anything starts.
